KAMAL HASSAN ,
CEO, is an experienced and driven entrepreneurial CEO with the capabilities needed to lead Skymeter to success, which he has done since March 2006. He learned from his experience as CEO of the VC-backed In Your Pocket, a European location information firm with subsidiaries in eleven countries, which he led to a fivefold expansion from 1998-2002. A former Bain consultant who graduated at the top of his INSEAD MBA class, Kamal has a strong technical foundation: engineering physics from Queen's and R&D engineer at Imax. Since 2003, he has made ten angel investments. He most recently took Zeno Global from lab prototype to customer-ready product, before handing over to an Asian-based CEO.

BERN GRUSH
, Chief Scientist, is a technical visionary who has cofounded three companies over the past three decades. He founded Skymeter in 2002, combining his experience in satellite imaging, systems integration, and evidentiary records for the financial industry. Bern's previous startups include PCI Geomatics, which has grown into one of North America's most successful satellite imaging firms, and MetaConcepts Inc, an integrator of document management systems in the financial services industry (1990). Bern speaks regularly, and is the most published author in English on satellite tolling systems. He has an MSc in systems design from the University of Waterloo.

PREET KHALSA , CTO, is a senior technology leader, experienced in developing world-leading technological systems. Preet started his career at IBM, Ernst & Young, and Oracle. He has held a number of senior positions - twice as CTO - at successful startups. Most recently, Preet led the soft- and hardware development of a new product. Previously, as CTO of HYWY Corporation, he led the technical development and supported marketing and sales efforts. Prior to this, Preet started up the North American operations for a Dutch software firm and assisted with the transition when it was acquired by Unisys. Preet has obtained his Bachelor of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo.

JD HASSAN
, Chief Commercial Officer, is a strategic leader who drives revenue and profit increases through organic growth, operational improvements and M&As. Formerly Director of Business Development for a Chinese multinational, he negotiated with Tier 1 automotive suppliers, set customer strategy, and increased sales in one unit from $150-250M over twelve months. Previously, with a Fortune 500 company in the US, he took a new product line from prototype to $38M of European business in 12 months. He trained in sales with a US multinational, was salesman of the year, and covered global accounts for their Toronto office. He has an MBA from HEC Paris, and an engineering degree from the University of Western Ontario.
